DESCRIPTION:Show, camp and sell on lush green lawns near trees at the 
 28th Annual Madera VW Spring Fling. The New Old Stock VW Club invites 
 you to join the fun April 28 thru 30, 2023 at the Madera Fairgrounds i
 n California.\nThe VW show and swap is Sunday April 30. VW camping Fri
 day and Saturday April 28-29.\nThis year we will feature a new optiona
 l connectivity for car show participants. Connecting more VW people th
 an before!\nCamp in your swap space if you wish. Gas BBQs and campfire
 s are okay. Please NO wood, pellet or coal campfires or BBQs.\nWe feat
 ure real bathrooms. Flush toilets and wash sinks. We also have portas 
 if you miss them. Limited showers for campers. Limited camping electri
 c hook ups.\nMovie night on Friday. Diner night on Saturday (Mountain 
 Mike's Pizza) with a diner VW show free with awards. Decorate your VW 
 with lights and compete/win!\nSunday, over 22 VW classes for stock/cus
 tom air cooled and water cooled VWs. Toy class too! Our award plaques 
 are some of the best given out in California.\nLast year we had 350 pl
 us VWs and over 100 swappers. Show classes are participant judged. \n
 Our walk in gate benefits the Madera Rescue Mission for the homeless.\
 nSunday, coloring contest for the kids, banana eating contest and Hot 
 Wheels Drag Racing.\nWalk to stores if need be including hardware, (Wa
 lmart) food and restaurants.\nKnight's Motel across the street. (559) 
 661-1131 Chevron fuel across the street.\nSunday show day is 7 am to 3
  pm. Friday camping check in time starts at 12 noon.\nQuiet time durin
 g camping is 11 pm each night to 7 am the following morning. If you ar
 e a party animal....please, please do not come to our show! We are a f
 amily show with kids and parents. We lock the gates at 11 pm.\nMadera 
 Fairground rules....No loud stereos. All dogs on leash. Owners are res
 ponsible for their dogs. Madera Animal Control will enforce. If your d
 og is not social, please do not bring them. They will be much happier 
 at home. We do have show security and Madera PD.\nFriday to Sunday Cam
 ping $65 (includes camp/swap spot or 1 show entry) Saturday to Sunday 
 Camping $45 (includes camp swap spot or 1 show entry) Sunday swap stal
 l 20'x20' is $25...if you have a trailer, it is two stalls. Sunday sho
 w entry is $20 Spectator admission is $3 per person 6 years or older. 
 Free parking outside. (Spectator admission benefits the Madera Rescue 
 Mission for the homeless).\nPark in VW class or with your club. We hav
 e a parade of first place champions to end the show.\nPlease no alcoho
