Event Description
Camping along scenic Highway 70 in Twain, CA. Fall asleep to the rumbling of the trains, soak in Woody's Hot Spring nearby. Hallsted Campground (NFS). Site 13 is home. Reservations are available at www.recreation.gov. Type in Hallsted. Many folks are willing to double up. June 4 update: Booked so far are: 7-15 and 17-19. Recommend 20. Avoid 16 if you want privacy.Raffle of prizes and potluck Saturday afternoon-evening.

Oh, yeah, a wheel bearing is pretty obvious when it goes. Vendors, yes, the GoWesty box is on it's way! Van Cafe, Stephan's Auto Haus, Highway One Type 2 Coffee...let's have some fun!

I bet that Shelby had something to do with that! Wonderful, that is most welcome. Bring a nice French Press or 2 and we'll call you a sponsor! ;-) BTW, we have 10 reserved sites so far...and I am sure at least some are doubling up. I bet we'll get 20 busses. Or more.

OK, so Regis' loss is my gain! I have booked #15. Anyone wishing to double-up with me is welcome. By the way, I miss you guys. I've been hiding under a big ol' rock since Thanksgiving but I found a jack and i've lifted it far enough I can squeeze out from under it. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at New Brighton in April!
