Camped there years ago amid little bunny rabbits that showed up around the campground in the evening and mornings. it was clean, quiet and each campsite was surrounded by bushes (oleanders?) that made them very cozy with grass for the dogs. I 'd like to go back there again next time I'm headed up that way from Sacramento.

Just about all of the Oregon State Parks are very nice, and full facilities - hookups if you want, hot showers, etc.

A few of the campgrounds have sites that are close enough to Hwy 101 that you get highway noise: Harris Beach, Beachside, Beverly Beach; but those are also very desirable locations for coast attractions.

There are a few USFS campgrounds on the coast also. Usually not full hookups or showers, but very good otherwise. Cape Perpetua in particular is great.

All coast campgrounds are very busy in summer, and most weekends spring and fall, so reservations are a good idea. Otherwise try to show up 10-11am in the morning in hopes of catching someone as they check out.
