Bus City XV

  • John LaTorre

Is the "cash only" a new thing? I think I remember paying via credit card once. But I'm glad that the event is happening again, and props to Laura for making it happen!

  • Laura May

Hi John- looking forward to seeing you in May. I believe payments have always been in cash. He may have accepted cards a really long time ago. Hope you are well and your bus fix was minor after the last camp out.

The bus is up on stands at the moment... I'm rebuilding the rear brakes (new shoes and cylinders) but it should be up and running again soon. I hope  I see you before May, though!

We are planning our Westy West Coast road trip (we live in Minnesota) and have Bus City on the calendar!

  • Wendie Wu

Miracle of miracles, my hubby is joining me this year. He’s actually sleeping in Beulah for 2 nights voluntarily. So I’m hoping to snag a space in the electric spots because of his CPAP.

Just checking if it is okay to bring our family Labrador retriever to Bus City. Campsite page indicates $7 for dogs, with some bread restrictions. Thanks

  • John LaTorre

Labs are fine, Jeff. The only prohibitions are breeds that were bred to fight, such as bulldogs and pit bulls, AFAIK.

And folks, whoever arrives first, be sure to cordon off an electric spot for Wendie.

Thanks much John.  I plan to get there early Friday.

  • John LaTorre

You should be fine then, Wendie. That's when the site opens.

  • Kathy & Mike Marlow

We’ll be there.  So happy that we can make this gathering.  We miss everyone.

  • Laura May

Looking forward to seeing everyone- one more week!

  • Lisa and Steve Dell’Anno

Miracle of miracles hubby Steve has finished the winter engine rebuild, and the blue bus has successfully made some short local errands.  Driving and fine tuning this week, we hope to make it to Bus City this weekend!  Fingers crossed!
