"To start with, the 68 can't be a splitty, they ended in 67, and the Bay's started in 68. So if it is a 68 it would have to be a Bay. If it is in really great shape, it would be worth the asking price, I paid that for my 70. But it was…"

Yes, we are going to BBB !!!! It starts on the 12th. It's four days this year. It's too bad you couldn't go to Death Valley the week before, we will be in and around Lake Havasu for at least the week before.

Sorry for the confusion, Gary! I didn't set it up with a fixed location in DV on purpose as I was hoping volks would chime in with their plans and more discussion would ensue. I am keeping my options open and my plans may change, but I intend to stop in Panamint or Stovepipe Wells on my way into the park. Maybe do some dispersed camping if I have company with me and then wander toward Texas Spring or Furnace Creek before heading to BBB. So, it's kinda loose. Do what feels right for you and Bev. I won't be entering the park until January 8 or thereabouts. I do hope to find you wherever you all land sometime mid-week that week before BBB. If your plans firm up, the post them on the event page and  I will make sure to find you! Melissa

Glad you enjoyed bottomless lakes.

J and I just might head to the pacific northwest in a year or so. We have a very good friend you just moved from Sacramento Ca to the Portland area...ya never know!

Our first long roadtrip is to do a paranormal night sky investegation of Dulce NM and the surrounding area (So we shall see about this) because it is goiung to take night vision euipment which we do not have at present with our money going into Eleanor.

Glad you also had a safe trip home though! I will add you as a friend...Mike

Thanks for saying hi!  I had to look up La Pine to see exactly where it was.  I've lived in Oregon for three years now, but I haven't explored near enough of this amazing state.  Once I get my bus running strong I'll have to make a point of heading east a bit.  Crater Lake, at least.  Maybe we will cross paths, looking forward to it!
