I don't know if my last comment posted it does'nt seem like it so....
Cool I will bring the projector and can't wait to see Frankie and Annette ( and don't forget Mood Daddy and Eric Von Zipper). I have a couple of great concert video's so we can dance and howl at the moon! Can't wait to meet you all and get a little time out just to BREATH DEEP!! kEV
I am confused - is this a projector that requires a screen or a DVD player? Looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying Nature. Hopefully, Levi (boy dog in our pic) will make new doggy friends as well since he likes both small and large dogs. Last time we went camping up by Yosemite there were several VERY LOUD people hollering around 2am so hopefully people will respect the quiet after 10 pm rule to some extent (i.e. no loud hip hop music on the boom box, more like acoustic guitar or something and no hollering "Hey George, do you want a burger?" at 2 am when you could walk over to George and ask him the same question)
Hi Mary,
Its a DVD projector and I have the 8 foot screen that go's with it! It's very cool and I use it when I do community outreach events. Fun for outdoor viewing.
One more thing Mary,
When I talk about dancing and howling at the mood don't think I mean being rude to others or boom boxes and hip hop, I'm 59 years old and in bed in most cases before 10 so no worries from the Welchs!
Thanks for the clarifcation Debie...The projector sounds cool. The people I mentioned above were in their mid-late 40s and were partying hard with their 20 something children. It ws like a frat party going on next to us:( I think VW people in general are much more considerate than that. I know we are in our 40s and are always considerate to our fellow campers.
Bummer.....
Leak in downstairs ceilling Thurs. Night turned out to be behind kitchen sink, behind wall, behind recent tile work, will be tearing and repairing this weekend, This would have been our second City and were soooo looking forward to this weekend. Oh well I guess the only thing that makes less economical sense than a 26 year old Vanagon would be a 63 year old house.
Carry on, might run out for closing day, Sunday. Peace

So sorry to hear this! You really should try to keep it down to one 20+ year old car (I am a total hypocrite on that front) and a newer home or a rental so you don't have to pay for repairs. Hope you can make it Sunday:)
Can't wait to head out this evening! I'm bringing my road bike and I'm going to pedal out to see some of the Tour of California bike race Sunday as they cruise through Occidental. Anyone want to join me?
Also, anyone want to share a spot for both nights?
Having a touch of little trouble in big paradise which is better than the other way around. If I'm not there by noon on Saturday, I'll be on the no show list. Sorry.
