CCVWCVB's First (and hopefully annual) Coastal Redwood Rally at Limekiln SP in beautiful Big Sur

UPDATE: December 11th-13th

We had to change the date, the Rio vista event is going on on Nov 11th. Make sure to RSVP so we know you're coming

Ric and I are putting the feelers out. Come gather with the coastal crew one last time before the holidays. PLEASE let us know if you're interested, we want to get our reservations in ASAP.

Online registration. www.reserveamerica.com Only 10 beautiful Standard ocean reservable sites are available. These are the only sites they will allow us to camp in our VW's. So if you think you might want to come, make your online reservations ASAP! Like right Now! They will go fast as this is a very busy park. Weekend sites book first and book fast. Cost $35.00 a night.If you later choose to cancel, you will be charged a non- refundable $7.50 cancellation fee Sites have no electricity, but the park does have showers. Tent only sites are available on the Creek side and in the Redwoods.

Comment by westywoman (Melissa) on July 22, 2015 at 8:33pm: Been thinking about this (that's dangerous). Getting to this place is, how shall I say, a beautiful drive but very slow. I will most likely break the drive down into 2 days for that very reason. It is NOT an easy-peasy drive on Highway 1. Consider it to be more than a weekend and I think it will be most realistic that way. I have been investigating interesting stops along the way and making a big loop.

Seriously though, I'll be cheering for you all to get a window between the storms. That's actually my favorite time to be on the coast!

Getting close to pulling the trigger on the Thanksgiving get together at Sandy Beach, so hopefully I'll see most of you there (and this weekend at Lawson's of course!).
