Event Description
We are going back to Sandy Beach in Rio Vista, CA. This is our annual practice run and food fest before Thanksgiving. Reserve sites soon as they may go fast if the sport fishermen/women come back this year. Make reservations here:

The geezer rate is available to those of you that qualify. Otherwise, be prepared, it has gone up to $34 per night.

In addition to the guest of honor, I will also bring a can of whole cranberry sauce and a jar or two of turkey gravy. It can be tricky getting pan drippings from the Weber to make gravy on site.

Gonna be lots of tasty yum yums there. You people know how to party.
Temps should be in the low 70's and low 40's at night. If I remember correctly, the electric pedestals only have a 30a receptacle? This is why a cappy hamper should have the 30a adapter? Didn't we go over this before? That and a space heater will keep ya all comfy cozy.

Space 25 opened up. Flu bug flying around has landed in our household. Reservation moved to Super Bowl weekend. A Happy Thanksgiving to all!

So, for planning purposes. we usually eat some time mid-afternnon Saturday, between 2:00 to 3:00 pm. This allows for eating and cooking and cleaning up in daylight, as the sun goes down around 5:00 pm these days. So, those of you cooking in crock pots or smoking a ham, give yourself plenty of time. After dinner, look forward to a roaring campfire under one of the big tents. And the reflection in the eyes of the raccoons waiting for tasty morsels.
