Lassen National Park last summer. I was in the tent camping area (no RV's) and got a warning from the camp host to move. The Ranger let me stay but what an ordeal.

Great place to camp. They did the same thing to us and other tent campers supposedly complained about the van! The ranger let us stay he said he camped in a van as a kid.

There was a huge tent area behind my van you just can't see it in the pic.

I guess what's weird to me is I don't understand how anyone could object to aV.W. van it is such a small footprint. After all this is a developed campground.
