VW insurance in MA

I saw a discussion here in March/April about VW insurance and it mentioned Geico. They entered the MA market only a few years ago when MA's special vehicle insurance rules allowed more companies to enter. I insured with Geico but they would only cover my 71 Westfalia for $1000 value. They suggested I insured with their sister company re special vehicles, but when I tried them they would not cover my VW at all because it is a camper. When it came for renewal recently, and I'd garaged it for the winter, I almost went for the storage fire and theft option but that meant I had to return the plates to the MA registry. So I cancelled the insurance altogether. and returned the plates (as required). 

While garaged, I'd like to insure for fire and theft up to the book value, which is around $9000. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
