Thanks Emmy. This is just what I was looking for. We only have two trips slated so far. This will give me a great base to start with. I haven't been to either of those last two you mentioned. Black Canyon of the Gunnison just sounds cool.

There's a boat trip...led by a park ranger.  You hike into the canyon, and takes you to the Cuerecanti Needle...  And then there's the Crestone Music Festival.  It's pretty inexpensive and you can camp at the venue.  Or you can head down to the sand dunes or Zapata Falls, which has a new campground.   www.crestfest.org  I have no trips planned, and I have seam rust.  UGH.  Happy Trails.

Don't forget Salida if your down that way!!!  We're headed to Strawberry Hot Springs this weekend, but won't be travelling in the bus :(.  She's in for some serious body work/rust remediation work and maybe even a new paint job...  So jealous of those camping in their busses this weekend.

I live in Salida, so since I sleep here every night I forgot to mention it.  If you guys are in town, make sure you stop at Free the Monkey Consignment on F St and say hi!  And if you do break down, I know the best mechanics!  HA

Yet another reason to visit Salida...  I look forward to meeting you sometime Emmy!
