Tell me about Plassid Lake Campground

Don't know if this is where to post a question - apologies if not. We Will be camping at Plassid Lake in early June for a couple of nights and this will be our first time there. Can someone in the group give me their experience at this park. Thanks for any comments.

    Placid Lake, btw.

    If it's a warmer weekend in early June it will still be quite cold overnight, possibly below freezing.
    Snow could fall any day of the year up there.

    The water will be reeeeeeally cold in early June but hopefully that will keep the noisy boats away.

    It's beautiful and easily accessible. Depending on weather it could be fairly busy.

    Thanks Grady for the reply. I am hoping for warmer weather  so we can spend our short time there enjoying the park. BTW will my 85 Westy have trouble driving up there. My wife is worried our camper will struggle up the mountains out there. Will cooking at that altitude be tricky?
