Wow! Mt. Madonna County Park (Santa Clara County) has added 3 sizes of yurts to the the camping options. The off-season prices are $35- $75/night. The $35 size covers six people. An outdoor picnic table, fire ring, outside food locker are at each site; free nearby showers are available. This might be a great wintertime camping option. There are some of us who remember the 6" rain we endured in December, 2008, while camping at Mt. Madonna.
