Event Description

Coming to a beach near you. That is assuming you are at Ocean Beach on the Great Highway in San Francisco, California. Right across from the windmills of Golden Gate Park and the Beach Chalet.

Time? Say start at 12pm to ??? It would be great if you stay late enough to enjoy a vanfire... or rather a bonfire. Safe combustibles welcome.

Comment by westywoman (Melissa) on January 7, 2013 at 7:40pm: I posted this on behalf of the organizers (loosely considered). This is a low-key, meet-at-the-beach-in-the-parking-lot event. Pop the top and share some chatter and soup. It started as a small event with the Vanagon crowd but a few bus interlopers appeared several years back (I had *nothing* to do with that) and now is hopefully a come one, come all kind of thing. Something is usually burned on the beach after dark...hence the name.
