Event Description
Buses, friends, red wine, campfire, kerosene lanterns, camping, fishing, flush toilets, etc.
What's not to like?
Cafe on site for those who prefer not to cook; Wi-Fi too.
$15 per bus should cover the fees. All moneys go to the local VFD. If your bus ain't runnin' come in any vehicle you got, no excuses, OK?

I hate to say it but I think my friend Craig and I will not be attending the camp trip due to something that has come up. I am so sorry and was really looking forward to meeting all of you. I hope to attend the next trip. I assume the trips are listed on the website. I am happy to report that our maiden voyage to the coast went well and our bus was great. We camped at Lawson's Landing at Dillon Beach and that was a great place to camp and super dog friendly. I would recommend. Don't leave your food out though as there are deer, rabbits and skunks. The skunks enjoyed the banana bread I made for the trip!

Final stats: 14 busses/vans, 1 Blazer, 1 Subaru with tear-drop trailer and all their assorted volks and dogs. It was bloody hot but a good time was had by all. The Mosquito Volunteer Fire Department was thrilled with the kitty from the campers. The cafe owners were glad to see us. All of the locals would like us to come back. We enjoyed fine wines and a campfire Saturday evening and Apple Hill pie for breakfast on Sunday! Welcome to the newcomers and farewell to Joe for about 6 months. We look forward to his return, maybe just in time for Bus City in May?

What is Bus City. Sounds like a great time. Sorry I missed it. The weather could not have been better for night in the Sierra's.

Bus City is a Big Blue dot com event and it is quite a hoot. It is held in May. In the past, it was located near Duncan's Mill, but it is allegedly going to happen at a new venue TBA.
