PA Thanksgivings Misgivings

My apologies for the late email on details of the PA Thanksgiving Misgivings Bus campout.
 
Some quick details!
 
$15 per Bus per night. NO ELECTRIC ISSUES this year! So bring your space heater or heated blanket with no worries. Because I am sure it will be frosty mornings.
 
The Dinner will be held 4pm Saturday. Sitting down and eating BY 4pm. So that we can clean up and be at our fires by dark.
 
The dinner list is loose...Turkeys have already been provided. Some sides have been mentioned....mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, squirrel pot pie, venison, and sweet potato souffle. But no worries on doubles. Just make your favorite dish and I am sure all will leave the table happy.
 
Dave says there is plenty for firewood and ice at the store. Also invited us for another bon fire Saturday evenin. Thanks Dave!
 
Looks like we have a small group of Volks arriving Thursday to enjoy Thursday night's FULL MOON! :-) If all goes well, we'll arrive a little after lunchtime Thursday.
 
No prizes, bands, planned activities, etc. Just a weekend to celebrate our Thanks for great family and to celebrate another year of Bus campin!
 
I'm not sure if GPSs will know this address unless they are updated. But here is the new campground address.

Here's a rough run down of directions...
 
Shady Brook Campground is located 2 miles off Route 522, in Beavertown, Pennsylvania. Beavertown is 24 miles north of Lewistown and 18 miles south of Selinsgrove. You will turn left if coming from Selinsgrove. You will turn right, if coming from Lewistown. The campground entrance is on your right about 2 miles from the beginning of Quarry Road(Lr54058). In Beavertown, turn off Route 522 onto Zechman Street. At the stop sign, turn left onto Sassafras Street, then a immediate right onto Quarry Road(Lr54058).
 
OR, you can come from Middleburg...Route 104. In Middleburg, you will turn at the intersection of a Dollar General and Gas Station/Car Wash. From Paxtonville Road and 104 intersection, Campground entrance is 5.4miles. Follow Paxtonville Road approx. 4.1mi until Quarry Road on your Left. Turn Left onto Quarry Road and follow for approx. 1.3mi to Campground. Entrance will be on your Left.
