Event Description
Greetings. Come celebrate the arrival of Spring and the Equinox. Open your doors, pop the top and dry out from a Winters nap. Blind wine and/or beer tasting. Casual munchie/potluck food fest for Saturday. My first event. Changes to follow as required. Location not yet set but I'm lookin'. See ya there

It's good to see positive response. March will be here before we know it.
As always, when looking for a site, I try for a place that will hold 20 vehicles. Meaning 10 spots at the venue from doubling up.

I'm going to introduce some of you to a game called, Left, Right, Center. It's a dice game. Bring three one dollar bills, at least. need at least three people. Ten is a hoot. Twenty is a riot.

No replies from the Salt Spring Valley people. March would be a good time to be in the foothills, imo, for the green grass and wild flowers.
And not to sound hasty But I'm leaning toward Del Valle. It is a nice place. I plan on bringing some extra cargo to make your visit more enjoyable and being closer to home helps me.
I went on Reserveamerica and the place is wide open except for #32. The usual spots, 34-40, 20, 21 would put things in common. Across the grass is the electric site for those with need as previously mentioned.
The main camp would be set up at site 37 this time
I'll give it a day or so to sink in but wouldn't mind some feedback. Then I'll pull the trigger. Should be fun.

I think Del Valle is a good choice. From a potluck perspective, I like the dish washing station with hot water!!!

Our experience at Del Valle last November is that the Tent of Doom needs to go on the high side of the road, on one of the sites in the grassy middle area.
