June Lake, Eastern California - Campground Review - Silver Lake Campground
Silver Lake Campground - Inyo was a great surprise. We were in the June Lake Loop. We had site #14, but anything around there would have been okay. We were close to neighbors, and or course it was car-camping, but it was actually pretty private (I think #14 was about the best spot).
The valley that this site is in is wonderfully beautiful. Nestled down in the mountains and on the side of Silver Lake, it offers shore and boat fishing. When we were there the RV park across the street from the campground was having a horseshoe throwing contest, which would have been great to enter had we not been tired from driving.
