Annual Champoeg Pre Thanksgiving Event - Newberg, OR

I went ahead reserved the group site for the above dates (the only weekend available). Check in time is 4 pm on November 2, check out time is 1 pm on November 5. Camping fees are payable to me, $10 a night per bus, as I paid the $210 site fee today. Any excess funds I receive over that $210 will be donated as the group desires.

For those unfamiliar with the park, please go to http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_113.php We are in the group RV site. There are five electrical stanchions that we can share, and running water at the site. The meeting hall has electric heat, running water, a kitchen sink (or two, I can't recall), banquet tables and chairs. There are restroom facilities adjacent to the hall. The meeting hall also has a nice wood stove, donations of wood highly encouraged! Free hot showers are available in the main camping loop, a short walk away.

A Saturday evening potluck is standard, as are the usual bus tours as weather permits. We generally have some rain, but the meeting hall is warm and dry and a perfect place to hang out. Champoeg is a beautiful park for walking, so don't forget your rain gear! I enjoy walking up to the Visitor Center to see the exhibits.
