Hey everyone! If you found this, you found the online home of some very offline people - The VW Camper Family. People into VW bus and van camping. Post an event: Post an event that you are organizing or know about. People can RSVP right in the event. Please make any comments about the event on the event's page.

General Forum:
This area is for threads of interest to any VW camper.

Groups:
PLEASE JOIN THE GROUPS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN! THAT'S WHERE THE EVENT PLANNING HAPPENS! Groups can be created as specific needs come up. Things that are a help to all people, like "campground reviews", are perfect for this category. Or groups in a specific location.

Just two so far:
1. Be nice.
2. Keep the content specific to VWs and camping. All other threads, photos, videos, etc will be removed.

If you enjoy beach camping or a ocean vista, Jalama Beach is for you.  Located 14 miles west on Jalama road off Highway 1 near Lompoc Ca. lies this  Beautiful Santa Barbara county Beach park.  Popular with surfers and beach combers alike, it is also home to the world famous Jalama Burger.  They have a wonderful restaurant and store on premise, well stocked with all the necessities you'll need as well as a great selection of beer and wines.  If you find your way on the central coast and you're looking for a place to camp, don't pass this one up.  See More

"Hallsted Campground has 20 sites. All are reservable except No. 9 which is is kept available for last-minute campers. Reserve early to assure yourself of a spot! 8 of the 20 sites have electric hookups."
