THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RESERVATIONS FOR THIS EVENT.

Let me explain that further - the campground is closed to the general public until Memorial Day. But Ranger Chris opens the campground Friday morning JUST FOR US. It's secret! It's special. Don't ruin it. If you call, the answering message will say it's not open until memorial day. If you show up the Wednesday or Thursday before, they will not be open. Please do not call the campground or show up before Friday. We've been doing this for 6 years!!!! Trust us. The campground will be open on Friday. There will be space for you. Thanks!

Simply RSVP here so we have an idea on how many might show up and then show up! No worries!

Campsite - first 2 people and 1 vehicle - $35/night
Extra people $5 per person/night

Extra vehicle $5/night

Dogs $5  - no Pit Bulls or aggressive dogs/night

RV or Trailer Up-charge $15/night

Late Checkout Fee $5 per person
 Day Use / Visitor Fee $5 per person or dog

Electricity $7/night

Seasoned Firewood Bundle $6

Hot Shower just 25¢ per min.

Forms of payment: Cash only

*All Prices Subject to County Occupancy Tax

ADVENTURER AWARD
We will be announcing the winner of the Schoolhouse Canyon Park / VW Camper Family "Adventurer Award". The award will be awarded to the bus that drives the most miles between Bus City 7 and Bus City 8. Buses must be present at the campout in 2016 (and had to be at 2015) to win!

Also Schoolhouse owns 30 acres across the street and a private beach just for the campground. It's just a five minute walk down the river trail. So bring your swim suits!

Thanks to all who came and made it another fun campout! We'll do it again next year - same weekend, same place! Congrats to Dave and Yolanda for winning the Adventurer Award for traveling over 14,000 miles between the 2015 and 2016 events!

So much fun!! Can't wait to get there next year, and what a GREAT spot. And Ranger Chris is the best!! See some of you at Train Spotting in 2 weeks! Thanks everyone! Beautiful weather was a bonus!

That was great fun, everyone. Lots of friendly people, lots of dogs, and a gorgeous campground. My husband and I were in the white '85 Westy in spot #28. I took some photos and will post them soon!

I pulled a total bonehead move and got the weekend wrong, ha! I showed up on Friday (27th). Had to drive all the way back to Santa Monica. What an idiot.
