Event Description
Camping along scenic Highway 70 in Twain, CA. Fall asleep to the rumbling of the trains, soak in Woody's Hot Spring nearby. Hallsted Campground (NFS). Site 13 is home. Reservations are available at www.recreation.gov. Type in Hallsted. Many folks are willing to double up. June 4 update: Booked so far are: 7-15 and 17-19. Recommend 20. Avoid 16 if you want privacy.Raffle of prizes and potluck Saturday afternoon-evening.

Hi all... just booked site 12 for Friday and Saturday night. My wife and 2 young ones are excited to bring the bluestar to our first GTG... nice and close since we live in Chico. If anyone needs a driveway spot before or after the campground closer to the I-5 on your way to other destinations, just PM me. Cheers!

Update: Sites 10-15, and 17 are now booked- 7 sites total! I'm excited to see so many early reservations. Closer to the date, we can do a roll call of those who are interested in sharing their sites. In the meantime, keep booking 'em!

We just reserved site 9 for Friday and Saturday. So pick me up at #9, you can be late if you bring wine! I'm not as picky as Joe. ;)

Really? You have connections to vendors! How great is that. :) Changed the driver side front wheel bearing on my van last weekend. The humming stopped, and I thought I was just going mad!
