I'd like It to also be a place to share our dreams of how our VWs can help us be bigger and better in life.

My 71 Westy, named Dexter* by his first lady owner, has given me a new lease of life and taken me out of my depression into a world of VWs and the wonderful people that own them. My 2010 roadtrip of 10,000 miles after collecting my eBay purchase from Medford, Oregon, was one of the best adventures of my life.

* I didn't want to rename Dexter because he was running great and the first owner had looked after him so well. However in order to bond with him and the purpose of my trip, I named him 'The YesWeCan CamperVan' on Facebook.
