Campsite #25 at Lincoln Rock State Park. Overpriced, but spectacular.

Additional commentary for campsite #25:

Lots of folks used the provided trail behind the campsite to get to the public docks. It wasn't too obtrusive. There was the usual high amount of trash in the pit and cig-butts everywhere. Thanks to those for that. The firepit is poorly built in my opinion. It is completely open at the bottom; due to the frequent blasts of wind off of the water it causes the coals to scatter as well as providing a bellows which results in a blast furnace type situation. What a terrible design. We shored it up with all the big rocks we could find on one side to stop the wind as much as possible. Four bundles of dry wood lasted about 4.5 hours. A quick 20 bucks. Oh wait, 49$. Camp fees were 29$ in the off season. I can see 10$, but 29$? Insanity. Loved the site, but I won't go back.
