Nice! How do you like the lift springs, bilsteins, and 16"s? I just had the same thing done to my 89, a world of difference!
What's yer secret to keepin' the fiberglas pop top looking so nice? I , too, have a 1989 Westy , same color and the blue's afadin' up there.
Jack, We go to Aptos once a year for a big Wrestling tournament out there. What's a good place to camp there?
There are a few good campgrounds near by, New Brighton, Sunset Beach, and the Manresa Uplands campgrounds are all nice.
I would add Henry Cowell State Park to the list. My family and I have camped there for years. It is easier to get into than the "on the beach" places, isn't covered with a damp marine layer when you wake in the morning, and has some good walking trails with great views of the coastline. It is also close to Felton and the HC State Park redwood groves. It used to have some poison oak within the campground, but State Parks went after it a few years back to cut WAY down on that stuff. I'm making myself want to go back just thinking about it. Easy drive down to SCruz or Capitola beaches too...NJOY!
Tony - My 88 tin top is the same color as yours with 16" Passat dark gray wheels. My bumper covers are a different (slightly darker) shade of blue which looks decent. I put the GW smoked turn signal covers on it with darkened tail light lense covers as well. Your van is looks SWEET - full camper?
