I hope you were successful in finding a proper mechanic. That was my biggest challenge after buying my van last weekend. I think I found a diamond in the rough but time and some work will tell. My good friend is moving down to P'cola so I look forward to visiting the panhandle in the not too distant future. Especially now that I found an old timer in the VW mechanical world hiding around the corner. Happy Trails!
