Event Description

Join us for our usual commotion at Sandy Beach Park in Rio Vista, California. The Tent of Doom will be there, so we'll have fun rain or shine.

The park has electrical hookups at every site, so bring your electric heaters if you want to. You may need a 110 v. adapter to use their hookup.

As usual, bring wood, bring wine, bring munchies. If there's demand for a potluck, bring something for that, too.

I'm in space 18, along with Romy and Jenn. Mike Fenandez is in space 17, which will be party central. As of today, all the spaces nearby are open, so here's your chance to make reservations via the above phone number (sorry, no online reservations at this park).

Who might be interested in  a potluck?

Cool. We just booked site 15.

Just a note: They did charge me a $9 fee to reserve a site that doesn't go toward the site fee. Bastards!

Let's hope for sun!

They did that for me, too. But I think that ReserveAmerica would ding you for eight bucks, so the park isn't that much out of line. And their rates have gone up, too. Now it's $30 a night for the first vehicle, and $9 per additional vehicle. So let's buddy up if we can, campers.

Two things:

1. I have a couple of spare electric heaters if anybody wants to borrow them. You need to let me know, and you need to bring your own extension cords.

2. I'm bringing my little Coleman camp stove oven, and making pizza on Friday night. It will be there for you to use, too, if you want to.

We are praying  for good weather....We can't make reservations because there is always a chance we can't make it over the mountain, so i hope there will still be an extra spot for us to share with someone....we will keep our fingers crossed, and look forward to seeing you all again....

Cheers Jason

Looks like we'll be arriving on Saturday morning.  Don't have a site reserved so we will share if there is room or pick a site when we get there :)

Boo, sorry we have to miss out. We are a ill/sick bunch and Lola hates driving sick people around in her= no fun. Hopeful for another NorCal event in the near future.

If the weather is dry, the yurt will be raised!!!!!

YURT, YURT, YURT. Can I set up my big screen TV to watch the superbowl in it?!!! :) Kidding.
Actually if people want to watch the game in the parking lot outside the campground I can bring a small TV if someone can bring a digital TV antenna. I know this totally defeats the purpose of the ANTI-superbowl campout. But it could be fun. I'll bring the power, TV, and speakers. What do you think?

Romy and I will be leaving Sunday morning cuz we have a superbowl party at my sister's house.
