Dillons Beach/Lawson's Landing
NO BOVINES along the seawall :)
A casual beach getaway, $70 for the weekend... pricey, but whatcha gonna do? No hook ups or electrical available. Well you could share a site and split the difference. The Lawson village is on its last legs since the state will be taking over, sad... many of the old trailers have been moved already.
I have reserved site 3-5 along the seawall (water view of Tomales Bay) for myself , Gene and Mike. The seawall is located a short walk from the store/bait shop and pier. You can fish for fish or rock crab off the pier, 1 day fishing licenses are available at the bait shop. You can dig for clams along the seawall at low tide too. Sometimes people will sell their catches of Salmon and Oysters... so the potential food options could be fun. You might be able to hook up for a fishing excursion too (I'm not sure about that) You can rent a boat or bring your own... even a kayak :) Potluck dinner up in the air
I only took two pic's and that was of Randy and his daughter jamming along. I was elated with joy to see them play with such casualness. They make it look easy.
The oyster feast was great. Brought home a dozen and a half and Q'd them up mid afternoon. Yum-o.
Pulled out, of the site, at 7ish in the AM. Did you hear me leaving?
Saw Jamez hanging with his son and that brought back memories.
Was home at 9ish.
6:57 am. I silently wished you well on your journey home as I faded back to sleep.
You're an angel.
Fun weekend! Bring oysters, wine and wood may be the new theme! Always nice to hang with good friends. (I heard Regis sneak out before 7 a.m.) Allison - back to those 3 questions? Thanks Bruce for planning this and hanging with your "niece". Hope Melissa's van is fixed soon! Another weekend that went by way too fast!
Was it foggy that night? Cause I sure wuz. I remember bits and pieces of some sort of Bus Crawl. I can only imagine what the owner of the Adventurewagon must've thought. Like , who are these people. But hey, they built a cool camp. I was just checking it out. My expensive wine glass from the dollar store ended up in Stephan's camp. I had to go looking for it. Last thing I remember is eating a sandwich in the Napagon thinking, wow-this has been a rough night.
That venue would be great as a place to do the ,Circle the Wagon, thing.
Wagon circle would be great, grab like 5-6 sites in a row along the wall.
Tell my niece I will see her again next month :)
