4-7-13 update: I just confirmed with Ranger Chris that we are all set and a go for this year. He's excited to host us once again.
NEW THIS YEAR:
We are announcing the "Big Blue's Adventurer Award".
It's easy. This year, we'll note the miles on your bus in a spreadsheet. Next year, in 2015, when you come back to Bus City, we'll note the miles again. The one with the most miles wins each year.
Also Schoolhouse owns 30 acres across the street and a private beach just for the campground. It's just a five minute walk down the river trail. So bring your swim suits!
Good Morning Thom & Amy,
I am bringing the DVD projector and screen again this year to watch the bus movie since we have been asked to bring it for some folks that have not seen it yet. If you guys can burn this video series to a DVD disk then maybe folks may want to check it out around the campfire! See you in a couple of weeks! Kev
Kim - to answer your question from way back - yes, you can kayak at the private beach.
Ok, thanks. :D
Gettin' close. Any kind of a head count yet? I see that 32 sign on as, Attending, but not sure if that is accurate. Either way it should be a real nice turn out.
Sounds great - I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys for the first time. 32 plus quite a few friends, I assume?
Question, My hubby is thinking about driving our other bus up. So we would both be in a bus. Would it still cost us the 30 bucks for us and 1 bus, and then the additional 5 bucks for the other bus? I don't want to have to pay 30 bucks per bus per night. If I read the costs right, it is 30 dollars for 2 people and one bus, and extra bus is 5 dollars. Does it matter if we as a couple are in different buses?
Got the bed built today... looking forward to this coming weekend!
Kim - you are right that a second bus would be $5/night.
Regis - It's always hard to tell, but I think we are around 35. I've stopped worrying about it as I am never really exact in my count.
