CCVWCVB's First (and hopefully annual) Coastal Redwood Rally at Limekiln SP in beautiful Big Sur

UPDATE: December 11th-13th

We had to change the date, the Rio vista event is going on on Nov 11th. Make sure to RSVP so we know you're coming

Ric and I are putting the feelers out. Come gather with the coastal crew one last time before the holidays. PLEASE let us know if you're interested, we want to get our reservations in ASAP.

Online registration. www.reserveamerica.com Only 10 beautiful Standard ocean reservable sites are available. These are the only sites they will allow us to camp in our VW's. So if you think you might want to come, make your online reservations ASAP! Like right Now! They will go fast as this is a very busy park. Weekend sites book first and book fast. Cost $35.00 a night.If you later choose to cancel, you will be charged a non- refundable $7.50 cancellation fee Sites have no electricity, but the park does have showers. Tent only sites are available on the Creek side and in the Redwoods.

Comment by Randy January on July 7, 2015 at 11:25am: I'm still a maybe on this, but looking at it I don't see any reason the "redwood" sites further in can't be booked. They just don't allow RV's or trailers back there. Far as I could tell using the google street view, which goes through the whole campground, only one site looks somewhat "walk-in". The rest should be just fine for a Westy. I did try to call them to confirm, but the number is for the Reserve America folks, and I detest talking to them (personally I think Reserve America is the worst thing to ever happen to state and federal campgrounds....)
