Sorry. Just now seeing this post. I booked site 44. It's not that close to the other sites - but that's intentional: I don't want my 18M-old to wake anyone. Also, since this is new for us, I booked for one night online, arriving on Saturday.

I talked with Peter a short time ago.  We're going to collaborate as the time nears.

Spot 35 is wide open for his tent.  Plus, depending on the weather, we may not need any shelter.  Or we may need them all.  No worries.

Time for a little chatter.  

Looks like six people booked six spots.  So that's twelve vehicles.  I don't know if each spot is booked for both nights. Need confirmation from Angela, Laura, Gene, Kris and Peter if their spots are for both nights or Saturday only.  I'm in spot 37 for both nights.  I do have a friend that wants to come so I'll have to hold onto mine for a couple more days until I know if he's a fer shure or not.

Yo, Mike, buddy.  Did you book a spot or wanting to double up?  That would make the seven, Will Attend, people.

So, to continue, Del Valle allows a second vehicle to park at the site for an extra eight dollar fee per night.  It's best if everyone has a spot number in mind.  Sometimes they ask for the last name of the main booking party name but that won't be real necessary. I'm going to talk to the Ranger and let them know of the confirmed site numbers and that a few second vehicles will be coming.  I plan on being up there at ~2-3 pm on Friday.  I may work until noon that day or just blow it off.  Ya know, take one for the team, as they say.

The bummer will be if we are only able to accommodate twelve vehicles max due to having six sites and the thirteenth person shows up.

So please, if any of you are planning to come for this most awesome Spring event with the most awesome VW camper people alive, I highly suggest you voice your options ASAP.

I plan on having a three bottle blind Pinot Noir tasting.  Actually two bottles of each for a six bottle total.  I also plan on serving up hamburgers for Saturday around 4 ish.  I'll supply the burgers, buns, and condiments.  Any extra salads, chips, etc is appreciated for Saturday's dinner.  I'll have a couple of tables for an ongoing munchie spread and donations are welcomed.  I should have the telescope ready for celestial viewings if weather permits.  There will also be a dice game called Left, Right, Center.  It's a fun game.  

Spring has Sprung.  So come on out.  Pop those tops and warm up to a new camping season.  More chatter to come.

As a bonus round, Daylight Savings is the weekend before so we'll get some extra light at night.  Maybe dinner will be 5 ish on Saturday.

Kinda still working out minor details about where Head Quarters will be.  37, 35 or even 38 if Kris doesn't mind.  No worries.  When you arrive it will be obvious.

The second bonus round is that St Paddy's day is that Sunday.  Wear some green or I'll pinch ya.

I booked my site for Friday and Saturday, and am sharing it with Mr. LaTorre.  I should be arriving sometime after 2 ish or so.  As far as headquarters, mi casa es su casa, so anywhere it ends up is fine with me.  I will round up some tasty IPA's for a little beer tasting and also bring something for the burgerfest on Sat.  Looking forward to seeing y'all!
