Join us in the scenic and historic Feather River Canyon at Hallsted Campground in the Plumas National Forest.
We have a full house. ALL SITES HAVE BEEN RESERVED as of May 17. There is one non-reservable site you can take a chance on. Otherwise, check the comment wall to see if someone wants to share. The recreation.gov link is below:
The Historic Feather River Railroad route runs on the opposite side of the river from the campground. Trains climb and descend the grade at all hours-you will be falling asleep to the rumble of the diesel engines and the squeal of steel wheels on the tracks. If you have never driven through the Feather River Canyon, it is a real treat!

Those looking for hot springs can find them a couple miles up the road. Formerly known as "Woody's", they are now associated with an RV and cabin establishment. I think you need to call ahead and there is a $5 fee. Details here:
he house is full! All sites are now reserved, except #9, which is a walk-up (no reservations). Some volks may be willing to share their site if you ask nicely. There is no obligation to share your site. And some may already be sharing but haven't made it public. We still don't know the mystery camper in #19. The musical chairs have begun. This will be my last update.

Bruce: They are all "back-in" except 14, which is a "pull-through". Those descriptions are for the trailer, 5th Wheel and RV crowd. You can pull in however you'd like as long as you are on the pavement.
Thx...
And as long as there is not a bump bigger than the size of my hand. Good thing you've got that stout bar protecting that 1.8t Bruce ;-)
To the Oregon outback and back... no issues... did make some snakes duck their heads though :)
So I'm going shopping tomorrow so I can get an early start to beat the heat. I guess the pot luck is what ever you want to bring? I don't think I'm going to get a bunch of wood, probably not going to be much of a fire. Will be nice to get out and see you all again! :)
Forecast for Quincy: 90-92 ish daytime, overnights in the 50's. We can do this. Way hotter in 2013.

Not worried about the weather, just wanted to know what to bring to dinner I'll be there for sure!
