Private Campgrounds 2 Replies

So i love state parks, they're great, but i'll be damned if they don't cost an arm and a leg to stay at. I just recently stayed at Inks lake, $22/night for a powered/water site, then a $5 day use…Continue

it is just south west of Ft Worth. there is supposed to be some decent camping areas if I remember correctly with power and maybe a tap at each spot. you can rent a spot or the whole circle of 10 or so spots(which is pretty cheap irc comparetively(sp))which has pavillion in the middle. Benbrook is a very nice lake imo.

I've never heard of it either, but would be DEFINATELY into doing that when it warms up. Hell, maybe even now. Hahaha Be nice to get a bunch of us there. At least us Sage Greens. ;-)

I'd definately be up for it too but yeah the weather would have to warm up a bit. Also gonna be a few more months until my BRILLIANT ORANGE non sage green westy is up and going... :)

BTW welcome to the group :)

Hahah, knowing me I probably was by listening to a sermon or sports radio. I totally saw you right before the ramp and honked at you, but you were off. Funny I've seen both you and Sonia now driving

I've always wanted to go and planned on it this year.... I ran into a hiccup getting my westy on the road but if I have her ready by that weekend then I'm definately going.

I've been once. The only dissapointment for me is that the camping is like 45 miles from the show.
