Greetings. It's that time again. What time you ask ? Well, it's time for the Fantastically Fantastic Fullbelly Fall Food Fest. Sandy Beach CG in Rio Vista is the place to be. As of this writing, the Campground has lots of spots . Party Central can be at site #4. Rain or shine. There may or may not be shelter for us to hunker down under but more on that as we get closer. Saddle up Volks!VWCF is going to the foothills near Lake Oroville at Lime Saddle Campground. This place is beautiful this time of year whilst it's still green and the wildflowers are out. Soon after, this place is parched and HOT. LS is fairly new, with flush commodes and showers. There's a nice short trail amongst the oaks with an explosion of wildflowers. There continues to be highway construction and related delays in the Feather River Canyon/Highway 70. Check 511.org before you travel. SR 70 is currently closed. There will also be construction on I-80 west of Truckee.
