Reserve your own or just show up. It's never been a problem. The group gravitates toward sites 5-16. Map here:

We've recently checked out the park. Can't wait to get together. Make sure to bring water as there's NO WATER at the campsite. Prices are very reasonable, $12.50 / night . Camp hosts were super nice too.

I couldn't figure out from the PDF document linked to westywoman's post whether (and how much) a second vehicle pays when doubling up. Not that it matters much... we'll sort it out when we get there.

Please disregard my comment on no water. We went to wrong location using Google Maps. Went to Sandy Beach campground on Sherman Island ( also considered Rio Vista). If you use Google Maps put in address, 2333 Beach Dr. 94571. Park fees are $30 per night, $10 each addition vehicle. Sorry for the mix-up. Their # (707) 374-2097

Was trying to think of last minute reminders. The only thing I can think of is bring some firewood to share for the Saturday night fire. Weather is shaping up to be sunny and in the 60s!
