THIS CAMPOUT HAS BEEN CANCELLED as of 8/28/12
Lawson’s Landing is a fishing and boating resort and campground, situated at the mouth of Tomales Bay, California— known for generations of families as a place to escape the heat and to rest along the shores of the Pacific Ocean.
Camping is in meadows surrounded by sand dunes (and often cows) with the Pacific Ocean and Tomales Bay a short walk away. Camping is $30 a night. Reservations can be made online.

Please note the gate hours, they close at 10pm & 11pm on Fri & Sat respectively. We will be arriving early Friday and block off an area big enough for us all.

H everyone,
My oppologies to everyone, we are going to cancel this campout. No fault of anyone, the campground conditions have changed enough that I don't think we would get a good turnout. More importantly I'm afraid people wouldn't enjoy themselves at the price that is being asked. Remember the Finnon campout is coming up, that one should be great. Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience. -Blake

While I was very much looking forward to going camping and seeing everybody again, I think this is a good call too. $60.00 for a weekend in a gravel parking lot doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun, but if Finnon wasn't happening I would have gone for sure. If we can get out in the meadow again in spring, that would be super groovy. Thanks to Blake and Shelby for at least trying to get this one off the ground! I have a friend who is visiting from AZ and was looking forward to camping at Lawson's Landing/Dillon Beach. I hope they have space at this late date. If we get a spot, I'll look you up!

We have reservations (but we're staying anyway--ba-dum-dump). I'll be arriving alone, but my friend will join me on Friday afternoon and we'll stay til Sunday morning. We'll look you up (Black/White splitty--white Jeep Liberty).
