Hello Bus City Citizens,

We are just over 2 weeks away from Bus City. Bus City 2010 - May 21st - 23rd, 2010 - Casini Ranch, Duncans Mills, CA

You may be asking yourself, "Self, what do I bring?"

1. Bring food for you.
2. Bring drinks for you and some to share.
3. We have access to the river, so bring water stuff - swimsuits, canoes, floating alligator...
4. Bring some firewood if you can. We'll have some, but more is always good
5. Bring a lawn chair and bring a spare chair

Also, this year we are trying to start a tradition of bringing lawn ornaments. So bring your windmills, pink flamingos and gnomes...

Here is a tentative list with names and spots. This can change, and may change before the campout, but here's what I have as of now:

I was stoked to bring our lawn ornaments to Bus City this year, but alas, we are moving. I was all ready to bring my inflatable flea (I lost out on the inflatable tick and tapeworm from work), and we have about 10 lawn flamingoes; next year! Have fun you guys. Love, Melville ('60 Bus)

Regis - you're correct - actually, we should all have some shade this year - thus the move to new spots...

Those in the Sacto area: Camping World giving away free lunch on Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm. The Vacaville location just happens to be on your way to Bus City!

Hello Bus City Citizens,

See you this coming weekend at Bus City!

Other Things to Bring:
1. Bring food for you. (The town of Duncans Mills is close by as has a cafe/coffee shop)
2. Bring drinks for you and some to share.
3. We have access to the river, so bring water stuff - swimsuits, canoes, floating alligator...
4. Bring some firewood if you can. We'll have some, but more is always good
5. Bring a lawn chair and bring a spare chair
6. NOTE: There is a store there if you forget something.


WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

1. THEY WILL HAVE A LIST OF YOUR NAMES. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID, YOU SHOULD ONLY PAY FOR A DOG IF YOU BRING ONE. IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID, DO NOT PAY THE BOOTH. THE SITES ARE PAID FOR. YOU WILL PAY ME.

2. FIND YOUR SITE. PARK NEAR IT WITH THE IDEA THAT WE ARE PUTTING AT LEAST 2 BUSES IN EVERY SPOT. HANG WITH ME, WE MAY BE TRYING TO MOVE MORE BUSES TO THE CENTER IF WE CAN FIT MORE.

3. RELAX. SAY HI TO YOUR NEIGHBOR.

Regis brought up a few good points: The police will be out on HWY 116, so stay between the lines on the way there. And quiet time is 10pm. They seem to enforce it (for now).

WEATHER: Last year it was hot hot hot! But the odds say it will be chilly and windy. Hard to believe after last year, but plan for both!
