Event Description

All - there is a VW exhibit at the California Automotive Museum in Sacramento, and this is the first weekend it is open. They have a rather large parking lot! So, Blake and I thought we should all go there, pop the tops and make breakfast/lunch and see the VWs. There are other cars in the museum if you really want to see them.Admission is 7 or 8 bucks.

I'm letting the "VW bug crowd" know as well. And, apparently there will be other VWs there from the sac club!

Comment by Tyler Rafferty on February 5, 2012 at 8:10pm: Looks like the VW club changed dates, but their show is now official. They are having it on 3/18/12 from 10am to 3pm. Here is a link to their forum post on the samba. I don't know if you want to change dates, again, or keep it the way it is and have a separate get together... Ill leave it up to you.

Blake and Shelby said they're going to be there, and their Vanagon not only lacks an air-cooled engine, it lacks a Volkswagen engine. So there.

I'll be there mostly so I can show the trailer and find people who actually know something about it.

I assume that means that you can park right next to me and I'll defend your watercooled vehicle as an excellent example of how a great idea (the camper van) can be taken to the next level of comfort and practicality.
