Event Description

All - there is a VW exhibit at the California Automotive Museum in Sacramento, and this is the first weekend it is open. They have a rather large parking lot! So, Blake and I thought we should all go there, pop the tops and make breakfast/lunch and see the VWs. There are other cars in the museum if you really want to see them.Admission is 7 or 8 bucks.

I'm letting the "VW bug crowd" know as well. And, apparently there will be other VWs there from the sac club!

And I'll be there for sure. it's the overnights that are killing us with Little Dude right now.

Comment by John LaTorre on February 10, 2012 at 10:03am: Um, before we get all bent out of shape here ... my understanding is that there will be two parking areas. The first, for the museum's "Wundercar" show, is for general parking. The second is for those who want to show their ACVWs, have kids climb on them, etc. in a separate but affiliated show, the VW Invasion, which is sponsored by Nor-Cal Aircooled. The show parking area will be behind the museum, I think.

So yes, the "Wundercar" exhibit is a public event, but since the "Invasion is sponsored by NorCal Aircooled, they are focussing their show on ...well, air-cooled VWs. That's why they get an area of their own (exhibitors, swappers, clubs, etc.).

FWIW, I'll be parking in the "Invasion" area. I feel that I really haven't done much to support the local club, but here's my chance.
