Event Description

Camp with us at Ocean Cove Campground, above Fort Ross and below Salt Point on Hwy 1. $20/night per vehicle; bring the dog $2; come as you are. We'll get there as early as possible on Friday, July 16, and stake out a spot to circle the buses (size depends on number of responses). Potluck Saturday night?
Note: OC, in the summer can be rowdy, but it's a party, the cove and kelp beds are hypnotically beautiful, and it's COOL, for those of us baking in the valley. As a side note:you might want to bring your own Port-a-Potty; it's "Tinkle-towers only. "Bring wood; bring wine."

Sorry we won't be able to make it, we will be on a road/camp trip in Oregon and Washington 15th - 22nd.

So we won't be missing the "twinkle towers" but we'll miss the company :) Have a great weekend! Shelby and Blake

Comment by Shari G-E on July 13, 2010 at 8:36pm: You can pay on the way in, we'll save room. It's "open" camping. Did I mention it might be rowdy? I kinda like it, though. For those who want peace and quiet, well that might be Salt Point, etc. We sleep with music and headphones.

Comment by Shari G-E on July 13, 2010 at 9:56pm: Cool, Joel. We're there Friday and Ned, too. I just talked to him and we were going to light the BBQ and "burn" some burgers or dogs--sharing the coals. We'll have pleny of mixed greens salad. Not officially a pot luck.

The store sells it, of course, but it burns fast. We'll bring something to burn -- oh, man, we were going to pay to have some documents shredded . . . :-)
