JLT's Half Century of Cheating Death - Livermore, CA at Del Valle Regional Park, Livermore, CA

April 10, 2015 at 1pm to April 12, 2015 at 2pm
On March 31, 1965, I almost died. Every day since then has been a day I didn't deserve. It's been a gift, and I've had almost fifty years of them. I'd like to celebrate these gifts with some other gifts I've been given over the years ... the friendships I've collected from some of the most wonderful people I've had the pleasure to know.  I'll bring the Tent of Doom and wine. You bring wine, wood, and you sweet selves. You can reserve campsites through http://www.reserveamerica.com/See More

Young's Market in T'Ville will be celebrating the 100th year of operation of their National Cash Register.  "The little old lady of Taylorsville street"  Very nearby is a lovely well-maintained campground with hot showers, nice facilites, on the river.  Grassy sites lots of room.  Resident deer and Turkey and raccoons I suppose.  I visited Philip Hyde's son David there in T'ville in October and did some serious leaf-peeping.  Relatively close to the world famous Williams Loop on the Feather…See More

Met you at Maupin a couple of years back. Next time you're up here in Oregon, look me up and I'll show you some cool camping places. Love your videos, make some more.

We won't talk about motel 6. I was looking for you at Maupin this year, figured something came up. There's tons of camping up here and 99.9% of it is just out of this world, the other .1% is only just great. Plus there is always my place. Next time you head this way, let me know. There are so many place right around where I live. I really do like your videos, was in fact watching them again last night and am hoping you make a few more. Keep on camping !!!
