Change of venue? Or should I (who haven't reserved either) just plan on showing up at the gate on Friday morning?
Comment by Joe on October 15, 2011 at 9:34am

At this time, I am still in the "come early Friday morning, snag a spot" club. If this plan entirely fails, we may need to go to Plan "B", which involves Brannan Island State Park, nearby and across the river.

I'm with Joe on keeping the venue for now.  We'll be there early Friday morning.  What I think we need is a definite count of who is coming and when, so we can try to have enough room for everyone.

emails sent to all who are in the "coming" or "might come" list about coordinating plans for holding unknown amount of sites. If you did not get an email and want one, please speak up!

Ouch, I'm in the same boat!  Would those with reservations that still have a spare spot to share speak up?  I plan to arrive late Friday night - 8;30 ish.... if i can mooch a spot to park....!!!

IMPORTANT! Because of the "iffy" nature of bringing a group to Rio Vista this time, the venue has been changed to a very nice campground with fewer problems. However, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, the new campground closes and locks it's entry gates at 9:00 pm sharp! Allow enough time to get from your home to the campground!!

$21 per night per site, $10 for extra car, 2 cars max per site.

Would you please let Shelby know by email if you're coming? We worry, you know.

Hi everyone, Joe did a great job at providing new campground directions at the top of this page, including webpage info. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Comment by John LaTorre on October 18, 2011 at 11:18am

I'll see you there at Lake Solano.

If Ned can't get his deposit back from Sandy Beach, I suggest we pass the hat. No reason that anybody should be penalized for planning ahead.
