SpaceMaker Side Tent for VW Bus or Van

Hi all,

I bought a SpaceMaker side tent for our Vanagon last year and when my husband and I did a test assembly in the back yard we realized that we completely underestimated it´s dimensions. It is way too big for the two of us ... especially since we usually only camp 1-2 nights in the same location.

We put everything back in the bag and sadly it has been sitting unused in the garage ever since... So now I am trying to sell it locally (I live in San Jose, CA) and try to find someone who wants to save the shipping cost, which were insane. Let me know, if you are interested ... asking price $390.

This would be perfect for a family or campers that stay in one spot longer than just a weekend.

Is this the same one that Bus Depot is selling now? The one they have looks a little different and smaller. We have a tent that we think is too big also, it has a sleeve that goes on the back of a SUV that I bought years ago when we had a '66. The sleeve fit around the doors because they fold out. But our '73 has sliding door. We have used it, but had to tape the sleeve to the floor of the bus. I was interested in the new Bus Depot tent, but it's pretty expensive. We may just get the awning, but I've heard that the awning is cheap for the price. I may not care, just want a little shade.
