Camping this Weekend at Joe Pool

Me and some buddies with buses are camping this weekend at Joe Pool. Tempuratures will be in the 80s, cant miss out. Getting there by 2-230pm on Saturday 26th, staying through Sunday morning.

I can't believe it!!! You guys are a bunch of ......................early campers.  I'm jealous, I'm mad, I'm envious, dag nab it it ain't fair.  Crap!!!!

Alma and I have talked about meeting in and around Glen Rose to camp.  I was hoping it could be in March before the Classic but it might have to be in May.  We may run down to Palo Duro Canyon (for those of you not familiar with Palo Duro Canyon its the second largest canyon next to the Grand, awesome hiking and mountain biking trails)  next month for a warm up for the Classic if the Glen Rose trip doesn't happen.

Fine, you go then, have a blast and take pictures so we know that it happened.

I'd love to do that with you guys. Now that my Westy is mobile, I plan to take full advantage.

I have 2 spots reserved, but with the 2 car (bus) limit per spot, these 2 are spoken for with those already in (Kirk, Bill, Me & fam. They don't let us pre book the exact spot. I'm hoping for 47-48, I've had them before. Anyhoo, if anybody else wants in, it would be great, but you should reserve, and that reservation holder should get there with me so we can get beg for spots together.

 

Herman, we have the best place ever to camp in the Glen Rose area. Let us know when and we'll be there!

Couldn't you guys (and the weather) have waited one more week! The '75 should bu up and mobile sometime Saturday so I could roll the dice and come out but I already committed to a date Sat night. And no offense she's mucho better looking than all you guys LOL Maybe I could talk her into it...?
