Letts Lake for six days recently--hammock passed rigorous nap tests.

I have some history up that way.  Used to frequent East Park Res back in the 90's.

Isn't there an Upper and Lower Letts lake?  I drove the Goat Mountain road and explored the surrounding Snow Mountain area.

But maybe I'm way off.

There's a Lower Letts Valley area that's OHV oriented and a mostly marshy Lily Pond close to Letts Lake. Nice area, LL has many flat sites and is good for dogs, paddled boats, very easy 1-mile (or so) trail around the lake. Main loop open all year, no campground water or trash pickup after freezes in October sometime. Just at the edge of Snow Mt area, near to GM Road, so your memory served you well.
