Gold tone modern aftermarket cross shaft on the right (not good) original early cross shaft on the left (GOOD VERY GOOD) why? Because you can't get the required pedal freeplay with the aftermarket cross shafts. This one was an EMPI cross shaft also...NO GOOD!
