Thats probably my favorite 40 mile stretch of road anywhere.

We've never driven past this campground. One of these times when the road is clear we'll have to take it to Missoula as an alternative to I-90.

Its not bad at all , highly recommend it . We did a day trip in the westy from Missoula through Rock Creek over Skalkaho up the B-root back to Missoula . I actually drive that whole road in my truck fishing almost every other weekend during the spring summer . Great fishing and great scenery!!
