Joe Pool Camping

Hadn't thought about this, but with the Super Bowl coming to town, thats near Joe Pool lake, and the traffic is gonna be killer. Thoughts on moving to Tawakini perhaps? Thoughts?

I think we're out.  My inlaws are in for the week, so we're booked.  I'm bummed, because I'm getting camping fever!

Definately moving to Lake Tawakoni, since the area near Joe Pool is gonna be a nightmare. First excursion for the now defunct SGWG (Sage Green Westy Gang) and for Doodle and I. Stay tuned for more details and pics.

Still got a few weeks to go on my '75 and can't drive anything with a clutch till this boot/cast is off my leg on the 22nd, so I won't be making any camping trips this month...

 

SGWG...Defunct yes... But we could compromise and rename it the OGWG...?

 We need stickers!!!

Dont know. I think so, but may have to wait a weekend or so. We decided on Tawokoni. (Sp?)

y'all might want to wait a week.  I love to camp but geez the weather is a bit too cold for me.  I am ready for traveling and camping.  Been visiting with Alma about a meeting halfway for us in Glen Rose maybe after the classic.

 

By the way Hello boys and girls!  I finally got around to signing up!!

Hey Herman! Keep me posted on the campouts. I'd for sure be interested in that. Not real sure this weather is gonna allow us to camp, no. 6" of snow last night. :)

Are you gonna camp that thing at the classic?

Thats our plan!  I'm working on a custom trailer to tow to carry parts, grill, shade, etc...
