4-7-13 update: I just confirmed with Ranger Chris that we are all set and a go for this year. He's excited to host us once again.
NEW THIS YEAR:
We are announcing the "Big Blue's Adventurer Award".
It's easy. This year, we'll note the miles on your bus in a spreadsheet. Next year, in 2015, when you come back to Bus City, we'll note the miles again. The one with the most miles wins each year.
Also Schoolhouse owns 30 acres across the street and a private beach just for the campground. It's just a five minute walk down the river trail. So bring your swim suits!
Great news, thanks Thom and Amy. I added you as a friend and sent you a message. Hope to chat soon. Will be so great to know another Vdubber in Walnut Creek area :)
Big Blue, reading the prices above, are they per night or total for Friday and Saturday nights camping?
That's per night - sorry for not being clear.
Kim - sounds fine. Thanks!
Hey all, I'm a first time camper with a 1970 Bus, and I was hoping to find some people to travel with, just in case! I'm in Vacaville and will be stuck in town until 3pm. (I know that's late, but I have finals that day). I have 4 other people travelling with me, and I'd hate to breakdown by myself. Thanks in advance!
Just returned from syncrofest. Met several people that didn't know about Bus City but made plans to come to the event.
I tell people its the VW Camper Family. Sorry I missed you. Everybody does their own thing with the food, but I accept chocolate cookies if asked.
I was at Syncrofest... Didn't ask me... then again I scare small animals and children
Well, I can see that we need to design an antennae flag, or similar, to proudly fly at various events that promotes the intentions of our wondrous group and unite us with the intent of telling others.
Check out this video series on youtube.. Amy and I have been watching the whole thing..
When they get to the Bay Area, we want to get a convoy of buses to escort them up... Watch and you'll see (try to start from episode 1).
Look forward to meeting you all in a couple of weeks!
