The place is holding aside 10 spots for us. The way to get yours is to send your contact info and a check to:
MVFA
9009 Orvel Becket Court
Placerville, Ca 95667-9040
It's $20 a night and they need at least 1 night to hold your spot. So you can send $20 or you can send $40 by check. If you send $20 and are staying 2 nights, you'll owe $20 when you show up.
AND - to make sure you are with the group when you arrive, write "VW Campers" on your check memo or a note when you send in your check to let them know to put you with the group.
A full refund will be given as long as they cancel the Wednesday before your arrival.
So, get excited! Plan your bus costumes, pumpkin designs and disco outfits now. Okay, maybe that last one only applies to me.
Be prepared to Trick or Drink.

Thought I would chime in to try to cause some guilt feelings ! Are some of you hesitating while you wait for the weather report or something to do that is mor comfortable? I think the only thing that would stop a true VW Family Camper would be a forrest fire at the campground. You can record The Walking Dead episode, while you are camping. Hope this comment will cause motivation, not guilt! See ya there.
